Greetings! My name is Marissa Meaney and I, like your average millennial, am a victim of the travel bug virus. I am a recent Masters graduate who is enjoying what will probably be my last completely work-free summer, and am ending the happy season with a one-month solo trip across Europe, which is something I have never done before.
I am starting this blog as a way to share my journey, partly for my own benefit of being able to come back and read about my experiences, but also so that I can share itineraries, travel tips, and provide recommendations for travelers who are looking to visit the same destinations. I have been told multiple times by my family that I was meant to be a travel agent, which explains my over-obsessiveness in travel planning and research.
My life will hopefully sort itself out back in the autumn, and when it does, it likely means that my travels will be less frequent. However, that will not stop me from researching future trips, and writing about what I find. There is the possibility that this blog might evolve into a travel and lifestyle page – I guess that just all depends on how well I feel my posts are generating positive feedback. Lastly, with all of this said, everything I write will be based on personal experience and opinion, so I will always welcome feedback from my readers based on what experience they had. I look forward to sharing with you!
